What problem it solves

Baseline assessments operate at too high a level to guide a crew about to start a specific job. This is the document that makes the connection between the risk profile and the work being done today.

Who it is for

Site supervisors and safety officers preparing for a defined activity, particularly higher-risk work.

What the document covers

How to use it

Complete it before the task starts and brief the crew on it. The acknowledgement section matters: it is the evidence that the people doing the work were told.

Limitations to be aware of

It assesses one task under expected conditions. If the method, the crew or the conditions change materially, it needs reassessment rather than reuse.

This is general information. A template provides a structured starting point and does not by itself create legal compliance. What your organisation and site require comes from the applicable legislation and a competent practitioner.
